The Plainwell varsity women’s soccer team is off to a great start this season with a record of 7-0-1 including bumping off Division 1′s number one powerhouse early in the season. Photos below are from their recent win (6-1) over the South Haven Rams.
Why is it that all our track meets seem to be on sunny days? Is it too much to ask for an overcast day? When I am not shooting my daughter’s events I like to wander around and see what else I can capture. Was looking thru some old pictures tonight and happened across some of my old lighthouse pictures. I had the thought of…..”I wonder what that would looking in Black and White?”. So off I went with several images into SilverEfex Pro 3.0. Of all the Nix Software applications this is one of my favorites. One of the built in presets is “Cyanotype”. Cyanotype was a popular process in the 20th century engineering world (Blueprints). Since this particular image was taken on a very cold February evening, I thought the blue cast gave the picture a cold feel. ENJOY!
